About Aerapy Animal Health

UV disinfection for the animal care industry.

Aerapy Animal Health (formerly PetAirapy) is dedicated to developing researched, tested, and study-backed UV systems to help ensure clean and healthy animal care environments not only for the animals, but also for the people who care for them. Founded in 2008 by the company’s president, Annette Uda, inspired by her quest to create a healthy indoor environment for her own pet, Aerapy Animal Health has grown exponentially in just over a decade.

From the beginning, Aerapy Animal Health (formerly PetAirapy) has taken the lead in air and surface sanitizing for the animal care industry, responding to the specific needs of veterinarians, animal shelters, pet boarding facilities, doggie daycare centers, groomers, and other pet-friendly industries, as well as for pet parents and pet fosters in their homes—in short, wherever animals are housed together. Aerapy Animal Health has teamed with leading UV scientists, healthcare professionals, and engineers in ongoing efforts to help eliminate airborne respiratory sickness and surface disease transmission.

Today, the company’s UV air purification systems with proprietary sizing help clean and sanitize the air and surfaces in animal care facilities and residences across the U.S. and internationally, helping prevent and eliminate airborne pathogens, such as canine influenza (dog flu), feline calicivirus, canine parvovirus, canine distemper, canine (kennel) cough, as well as allergens. Aerapy Animal Health’s UV systems have been shown to kill more than 99.9% of tested virus and bacterial pathogens. Aerapy Animal Health recognizes that each animal care space is unique, with its own concerns and challenges, that’s why there is no “one size fits all” approach when it comes to creating the clean and healthy environments that animals, and the people who care for them, deserve.
